• If you are a child under the age of 13 and just created an account, you cannot log-in to your account until your parent confirms COPPA and allows you to use a 5thgearkids.org account. Please look under How to Confirm COPPA- to get directions on how your parent can allow you access to your 5thgearkids.org user account
• If you are not a child under the age of 13 and cannot log-in to your account, please contact us at 5thgearkids@gmail.com so that we can help you with this issue.

If you are a parent and did not receive the confirmation e-mail to approve your child's use of a 5thgearkids.org user account, please make sure to check your spam folder or junk mail in your e-mail account. If you still can not find the confirmation e-mail, please contact us at 5thgearkids@gmail.com so that we can provide further assistance.

If you are a parent, you please follow the steps below to confirm COPPA for your child:

1. Go to the e-mail address your child provided when he/she created their 5th Gear Kids account as the 'parent e-mail address'. 
2. You should have two e-mails in your inbox (check your junk mail or spam if you can't find the e-mail) from postmaster@5thgearkids.org.  Please open the e-mail labeled 'Notice of your child joining 5thgearkids.org.'
3. Click on the link in the e-mail that will look something like this: 5thgearkids.org/confirm...coppa
4. The link will send you to the 5th Gear Kids website- on this page you will see your child's username for the 5th Gear Kids website.  Next to your child's username will be a box labeled 'Coppa Status'- please check this box by clicking on it.
5. After checking the 'Coppa Status' box, please click the 'Confirm COPPA' button.
6. Once you click the 'Confirm COPPA' button, you will go to a new screen that indicates your child is now able to use their 5thgearkids.org account.
7. Now you're done and your child can log in to 5thgearkids.org!Check the box under 'COPPA Status'

You can check your points by following the steps below.  PLEASE NOTE: It may take up to 24 hours AFTER the first time you log into the prize website before you will be able to see your points.  You will continue to earn points, they just will not show up for at least 24 hours.

1. Go to www.5thgearkids.org.

2. Click on 'Get Your Prizes'

2. Enter the FIRST 11 digits of your 5th Gear Kids ID card number- this number is found below the barcode on the back of your 5th Gear Kids ID card.  (Please make sure to only enter 11 digits- leave off the last number).

3. Once you have entered your ID card number, just enter your name and elementary school, then you will be able to click on 'SHOP' to check your point balance and order prizes!

If your parent does not have an e-mail address, follow the directions below to create a user account:

1. Go to www.5thgearkids.org and click Register Now.
2. When you create your user account, please user YOUR personal e-mail as 'e-mail address'.  When you get to the box labeled 'Parent or Guardian E-mail Address'- put a check in the box below that says your parent or guardian does not have an e-mail address.  Then finish creating your account.
3. Once your account is created, you will come to a page with the title "Your Registration is Not Complete". This page will have two documents that you need to print out- Parent COPPA Notice and 5GK Website Use Consent Form.  Please print both of these documents and give them to your parent.
4. Once your parent gets both of these documents, they should complete and sign the 5GK Website Use Consent Form.
5. Once your parent completes and signs the consent form, please return the consent form to the 5th Gear Kids expert at your school.
6. Once the 5th Gear Kids expert at your school has received the signed consent form, please check your e-mail regularly, as you will receive notification that your are allowed to use your 5th Gear Kids account.
7. Once you receive e-mail notification, you can log in to www.5thgearkids.org.

If your parent does have an e-mail address and you accidentally clicked the button labeled- My Parent Does Not have an E-mail Address- please follow the directions below so that you can create an account:

1. E-mail the username you chose for your 5thgearkids.org account to 5thgearkids@gmail.com 
2. Check your e-mail for confirmation that the 5th Gear Kids website administrator has deleted the account you created.
3. Once your original user account has been deleted, you can go to www.5thgearkids.org and create a new account.  Please enter your parent's e-mail address in place of checking the box you previously checked.
4. Ask your parents to follow the directions in the e-mail they receive from 5thgearkids.org in order to approve your use of the 5thgearkids.org website.

All children in Aurora Public Schools and Cherry Creek School Districts are given e-mail accounts by the school district.  Please contact your child's school to learn your child's e-mail address.

If you cannot access your child's e-mail address, please follow the directions below to create a 5th Gear Kids user account for your child:

1. Go to www.5thgearkids.org and click Register Now.
2. When you create your child's user account, please user YOUR personal e-mail as 'e-mail address'. When you get to the box labeled 'Parent or Guardian E-mail Address'- put a check in the box below that says your parent or guardian does not have an e-mail address. Then finish creating your account.
3. Once your child's account is created, you will come to a page with the title "Your Registration is Not Complete". This page will have two documents that you need to print out- Parent COPPA Notice and 5GK Website Use Consent Form. Please print both of these documents.
4. Once you've printed both documents, please complete and sign the 5GK Website Use Consent Form.
5. Once you have completed and signed the consent form, please have your child return the consent form to the 5th Gear Kids expert at their school.  (this is likely the PE teacher or one of the 5th grade teachers).
6. Once the 5th Gear Kids expert at your child's school has received the signed consent form, please check your e-mail regularly, as you will receive notification that your child is allowed to use their 5th Gear Kids account.
7. Once you receive e-mail notification, your child can log in to www.5thgearkids.org.

If you created a user account and you are not allowed access to confirming COPPA for your child, please contact 5th Gear Kids by sending an e-mail to 5thgearkids@gmail.com.  In your e-mail, please provide the following information:

1. The username and e-mail address associated with your child's 5th Gear Kids account
2. The username and e-mail address associated with YOUR 5th Gear Kids account.

Once you have provided the above information to 5th Gear Kids, both your and your child's accounts will be deleted so that you can start over from scratch by following the steps below:

1. Go to www.5thgearkids.org and click on 'Register Now'.
2. Create a new user account for your child- this can have all of the same information as the original user account because the original account was created.
3. Once your child's account has been created- check your e-mail account- the one provided as the 'parent's e-mail address' and follow the directions under number 3 'How do I confirm COPPA' in order to approve your child's use of a 5thgearkids.org account.

If your pediatrician doesn't know about 5th Gear Kids, you can get points for going to your annual well-child visit by providing proof of your visit to the 5th Gear Kids expert at your school.  Once you provide proof of your visit, you will receive the 750 points for completing your well-child visit!
